The $160 million casino is the largest of the seven Osage Casinos and is billed as the Nation’s flagship casino, which brings in the most revenue to fund Osage Nation government services and their casino operations. The project is a 247,000 square foot casino, 75,000 square foot hotel and associated parking garage.

Wallace Engineering provided civil engineering services for the casino, hotel and parking structure on this 100-acre site with a mile of stream relocation. The casino has 68,000 square feet of gaming space with 16 table games, five poker tables, 1,500 electronic gaming machines, a sports bar and grill, a small cafe and full service brew pub. The hotel includes 141 guest rooms, six suites, a fitness center and resort style pool with a 6,000 square foot outdoor entertainment space. The hotel also houses a 10,000 square foot ballroom and three breakout rooms for conference and conventions, and a 45,000 square foot event space. The new four-level parking garage adds 1,039 spaces bringing the total number of spaces, both surface and structured parking, to 3,381.

In order to facilitate the construction of the new Osage Casino building, the existing stormwater channel that ran through the site had to be rerouted around the new building footprint. This resulted in 4,735 feet of relocated channel, including two large culverts. The channel dead ends into a detention pond, which was designed to accommodate the 200+ acre drainage area with over 13 acre-feet of volume. Additionally, there were existing wetlands located within the proposed area of development. Portions of the existing wetlands were required to be mitigated and relocated with the remaining wetland areas being preserved.

November 17, 2016 (Tulsa, Okla.) – Osage Nation leadership, elected officials, chamber representatives and guests joined Osage Casino today to break ground for the Osage Nation’s Tulsa Casino and Hotel. The 66,280-square-foot building project will create a larger casino and new hotel and is designed by Marnell Architecture, the firm that designed The Bellagio and Caesars Palace.

The casino will have floor space for 1,500 electronic gaming machines, 16 table games, and five poker tables. The casino will also house a sports bar and grill, a café and an additional full-service brew pub. The casino and hotel will be built by Crossland Construction Company, Inc. with Osage Casinos selecting Stonebridge Group LLC out of Tulsa, Oklahoma as the owner’s representative.

“The expansion of Osage Nation’s Tulsa casino and the addition of the hotel is truly a milestone for the Osage Nation,” said Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear. “Not only does it impact the Nation, it positively impacts the Tulsa community and surrounding areas by creating jobs, contributing to economic development and meeting the mission of the Nation. The 126-room, the full-service hotel will house six suites in addition to standard guest rooms, a fitness center, and resort-style pool. The hotel will also be home to a 10,000 square-foot ballroom and three breakout rooms for conferences and conventions along with a 25,000 square-foot event space for multi-purpose.
